A short VFX project done in Unity HDRP, meant to show hypothetical rarities of items that might be found in a game. Using different shapes and effect scales to communicate how rare / powerful an item might be.

I wanted to push the orange, spiraled effect to be appealing and exciting to see, and to contrast that with the more simple, smaller, white effect.

I also worked to make the effects distinguishable in more ways than just color– using different beam types & heights, different circular aura intensities, and different symbols spawning ambiently.
